Humphreys, McLaughlin & McAleer is honored to announce that Lance G. Montour will be retiring from the private practice of law following his selection as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General of Maryland.
Lance will begin his public sector legal career assigned to the Subsequent Injury Fund in early April.

About

Mr. McLaughlin is a Principal in the firm and began working with its predecessor, Herwig & Humphreys, in 1995. He concentrates in the defense of workers' compensation claims in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has practiced law since 1993 and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, The Baltimore Claims Association and has served on the Vocational Rehabilitation Committee in 2008-2009. He has presented on the topic of Vocational Rehabilitation from a defense perspective before the Maryland Workers Compensation Educational Association. He is a graduate of Western Maryland College and The University of Baltimore School of Law. Additionally, Mr. McLaughlin has been honored as a 'Super Lawyer' in the area of Maryland Worker's Compensation every year since 2015.
